| Description: | Due to increased business, an international leading broking firm is hiring a Senior IT Support - Trading Floor. You will provide IT support for the office and will cover Trading, Back and Middle Office, Banking and Research businesses. You will provide a high level technical support and follow up escalated 3rd line problems across APAC offices. Key accountabilities: •Troubleshooting and support for user queries; •Extensive intra-bank liaison, especially within the business groups; •Manage vendor contacts and relationships; •Support and problems solving of Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office products; •Troubleshoot networking issues, TCP/IP, NAT/PAT, etc; •Troubleshoot and first level telephony support for PABX, BT ITS Dealer Board, Cisco IPTEL and NICELOG voice recording system; •Support of local Market Rates services, trading systems, market feeds and clearing systems; •BlackBerry support, remote access (Cisco VPN) including wireless networks support; You will have sound technical experience in mission critical environments, ideally in the Banking and Trading Room environments. You should possess a sound understanding of Microsoft operating systems as well as Active Directory administration. A working knowledge of UNIX and Market Rates services (e.g. Bloomberg and Reuters) products is highly desirable. A strong customer service focus and the ability to deliver quality support are keys to this role. | ||
