| Description: | Java/Perl/SQL Developer • Major Investment Bank • AVP Level Position • Excellent Career Opportunity Our client is looking to hire a Java/Perl/SQL Developer to join its Software Development Centre. This role is to be a developer within the Reference Data IT team delivering solutions to a global user base. The Reference Data team is responsible for, product and price data within the bank on a cross-asset basis as well as counterparty and client data. The team maintains a number of strategic repositories both in-house and vendor that source, maintain, validate and distribute reference data to all systems in the firm. Responsibilities: • Low level design of solutions. • Coding and unit testing of the solution. • Work with testers and business analysts to verify solutions. • Rework defects and take part in defect analysis. Requirements: • Experience in developing J2EE applications, comfortable with J2EE technologies (JDBC, JMS, EJB, JNDI) (4+ yrs) • CPerl (4+ yrs) • Sybase or MS-SQL 2000 (4+ yrs) • UNIX (1+ yrs) • Shell (1+ yrs) • Windows • Good knowledge of batch type applications developed using Perl and SQL databases. | ||
